Dan Perryman to president and chief executive of St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Ill., from president and chief executive of St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill.

Cincinnati-based Catholic Health Partners has eliminated the position of president and chief executive of Mercy-Northern Market, held by Andrea Price. CHP leaders said in a statement that they eliminated the Toledo-based position as part of broader efforts to consolidate system-wide functions and services.

Sherlyn Hailstone will retire July 1 as president of SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, St. Louis. Kate Becker, president of SSM St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights, Mo., will serve as interim president of SSM Cardinal Glennon. Damon Harbison to acting chief operating officer of SSM Cardinal Glennon, from vice president of operations.

Pamela Rezac will retire June 27 as president and chief executive of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, S.D.

Robin K. Smith to administrator for St. Francis Nursing Center, Newport News, Va.

Vanessa Vonderhaar-Picard to chief nursing officer of The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health, Cincinnati.

Sr. Karina Dickey, OP, to vice president of mission integration, St. Dominic Health Services, Jackson, Miss.

Mary E. Geary to vice president of quality and safety for Sacred Heart Health System, Pensacola, Fla.

Paula Hindle to vice president for nursing strategy and practice for Loyola University Health System, Maywood, Ill.

Elliott Bedford to director of ethics integration for St. Vincent Health, Indianapolis.

GRANTS/GIFTS

Baltimore's Saint Agnes Hospital Foundation has received a $197,634 grant from the AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation's cardiovascular health program. The hospital will use the funds for its Heart-to-Heart initiative to identify and assess underserved, low-income African-American women at high risk for cardiovascular disease and to provide intervention programs.

St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach, Calif., will provide respiratory health services to Wilmington, Calif., with a $125,000 grant from Harbor Community Benefit Foundation.

The CARE Network of St. Joseph Health Queen of the Valley of Napa, Calif., has received a $100,000 grant from Premier. The organization received the grant as part of its acceptance of the Monroe E. Trout Premier Cares Award, for the hospital's success in improving population health through a disease management and transitional care program.
