Ascension St. Vincent plans to open the $200 million Ascension St. Vincent Women and Infants Hospital at its flagship campus in Indianapolis on Nov. 16. The eight-story facility will connect to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and the Peyton Manning
Children's Hospital.
St. Vincent is relocating women's services to the building from a campus less than a mile away.
The new Women and Infants Hospital will have the largest level IV neonatal intensive care unit in Indiana, with 109 beds. The hospital will have 30 maternity suites with advanced technology and central Indiana's first couplet rooms that allow moms and
babies to receive care together. Services available will include inpatient, outpatient and virtual care; lactation services; maternal navigation; and midwife and doula care. Live-streaming cameras will enable families to monitor their babies remotely
when necessary.
The new hospital will house one of Indiana's largest pediatric emergency departments.
This facility addition is part of a $325 million investment to expand the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital campus. That investment also will fund a brain and spine hospital and a parking garage.
