Rev. Michael Rozier, S.J., Ph.D. is a Jesuit priest and an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Health Management and Policy at Saint Louis University.
In 2008, he served as an ethics fellow with the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. From 2008-2011, Rev. Rozier taught global health and public health ethics at Saint Louis University and was the director of the School of Public Health's undergraduate degree in community health.
His research focuses on the way population health strategies shape the identity of health care organizations and the emergence of new ethical questions related to population health. He has a long history of working with communities of need, including the homeless, incarcerated, and refugees, both in the US and in Latin America. He currently serves on the board of directors and the sponsor board of SSM Health Care Corporation as well as on the board of trustees of Marquette University.
Rev. Rozier received his B.A. in chemistry from Saint Louis University and upon graduation he entered the Jesuits. He has earned graduate degrees in philosophy from the University of Toronto, in international health from Johns Hopkins University, and in moral theology from Boston College. In 2018, he earned his Ph.D. in Health Management and Policy from University of Michigan.
