Dori Leslie currently serves as the President for Friendship. Dori began her career at Friendship as a direct care staff in 1997 and has served in numerous positions throughout the organization. During her 27 years of service, Dori has been an advocate for the vulnerable population to live and work within their communities. Her personal mission is to ensure people of all different ability levels have the best quality of life possible through Servant Leadership.
Dori received an Arc of Justice Award from the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition due to her work on ensuring people with disabilities have the same rights as other American citizens. In 2018, Dori was one of the Prairie Business Top 25 Women in Business in the tri state area (ND, SD, MN). She currently serves on the Fargo Board of Directors for the Presentation Associates.
Dori graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Physical and Special Education and has a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Jamestown. As a leader, it is her job to be an effective communicator and negotiator, embrace diversity, follow all ethical rules, be forgiving, and most of all, be servant to those she serves.
