Statement Supporting an Open Letter to Congress from Former Senate Majority Leaders Bill Frist, M.D, and Tom Daschle

Statement by Sister Carol Keehan, DC, President & Chief Executive Officer Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) 

Oct. 26, 2017 — The Catholic Health Association of the United States applauds former Senate Majority Leaders Bill Frist, M.D. and Tom Daschle for their open letter to Congress addressing the need for bipartisanship to stabilize the individual insurance market. CHA agrees that the only path forward is for all parties to come together to create real solutions. We support the efforts of Senators Lamar Alexander and Patty Murray and urge members of the House and Senate to work diligently on behalf of the American people to achieve a bipartisan solution towards stabilization.
