Holy Father we ask you to be with us here as we celebrate Veterans Day. Today we honor some of the strongest, brightest, and by far the most courageous people that you have ever put on this earth. Today we honor the men and women from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and the Coast Guard. 

Today we ask you Lord to send your Holy Spirit down upon us and bless each and every one in this room. There were many days that we did not even have a chance to think about you Lord, yet you always had the time and still do have time to be by our side. 

As we sit here today let us not forget the friends and family members that have gone before in the time of war. As we look back at our memories of the times that we served, I am sure that you knew someone that lost their life in the time of war; we pray for them today.  As we look back at all the sacrifices that we made, we know Lord that you were with us through each and every one of them.  Bless all of us in this room as we move forward to Build Your Kingdom in Heaven.
