National Preparedness Month Prayer
O Lord, until you bring about the new heavens and new earth at the end of time, disasters will come.
Give us wisdom to be ready, that we will be watchful but not fearful.
Make us ever mindful of ways to prepare for natural disasters, flooding, storms, fires, earthquakes.
Let us look beyond ourselves to help others in the midst of crisis and rebuilding after a disaster.
Make us leaders in these efforts for our families, our communities, our nation, and our world, until you return to put all things right again.
