PRESIDENTS/CEOS
Sandra Bruce will retire as president and chief executive of Chicago-based Presence Health at the end of the year.

Facilities within St. Louis-based Ascension Health have made these changes: Michelle Robertson to president and chief executive of the Seton Family of Hospitals, Austin, Texas, from vice president and chief executive of Seton Healthcare Family's north group. Donnie Romine to interim president and chief executive of St. Vincent's HealthCare of Jacksonville, Fla., from chief operating officer of St. Vincent's and president of St. Vincent's Medical Center Riverside in Jacksonville. He replaces Moody Chisholm Jr., who has resigned to serve as regional vice president of Intermountain Healthcare's central region.

Morre Dean to president of Centura Health's South Denver Group of Englewood, Colo., and chief executive of Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, from chief executive of Parker Adventist Hospital of Parker, Colo.

David Neuendorf is retiring as president of SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Audrain in Mexico, Mo. Brent VanConia, SSM Health regional president, has been named interim president of SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Audrain.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Victoria King to chief nursing officer of PeaceHealth, Vancouver, Wash.

Dr. Michael White to chief academic officer at CHI Health of Omaha, Neb., a regional network of Catholic Health Initiatives of Englewood, Colo.

Mary Jane Nottonson to administrator at Sancta Maria Nursing Facility in Cambridge, Mass.

Cindy L. Hickey to vice president of marketing and public relations at Mercy Medical Center, Canton, Ohio.

Michelle A. Van Gheem to the Innovation Institute's executive director for enterprise development for Bon Secours Health System. The La Palma, Calif.-based institute is owned by St. Joseph Health of Irvine, Calif.; Bon Secours of Marriottsville, Md.; and Children's Hospital of Orange County in Orange, Calif. The institute works with physicians, employees and industry business partners to incubate and commercialize new medical products and ideas.

GIFTS

The Mays Family Foundation is giving $2.5 million toward construction of Children's Hospital of San Antonio.

Mercy Medical Center of Springfield, Mass., is receiving a $1 million challenge gift from Cynthia and William Lyons of Wilbraham, Mass., toward a capital campaign for the Sister Caritas Cancer Center.

HONOR

Sr. Carol Keehan, DC, CHA president and chief executive officer, has received the Matthew F. McNulty, Jr. Award, which is given annually by the Healthcare Council of the National Capital Area. Sr. Carol was recognized for her contributions during a 15-year tenure as chief executive of Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C.
