Carondelet Health Network of Tucson, Ariz., has made these changes: Dr. Amy Beiter to president and chief executive of Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital of Tucson from chief medical officer, Tony Fonze to president and chief executive of Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital of Tucson from chief information officer and vice president of Ascension Health Information Systems, Dr. Don Denmark to the network's senior vice president and chief medical officer, Martha Gerganoff to the network's senior vice president and chief nursing officer, and Tawnya Tretschok to the network's vice president and executive director of physician practices.

David T. Brooks to president of St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit, and senior vice president of St. John Providence Health System, Warren, Mich., from chief executive of Providence Health & Services, Northwest Washington Region.

Wes Littrell to retire Dec. 31 as chief strategy officer for Saint Thomas Health and chief executive of Saint Thomas Health Affiliates in Nashville, Tenn.

Sean McCallister to critical access hospital operations administrator for Providence Health & Services Alaska, Anchorage, Alaska.

Joseph Fong to administrator at Providence Seward Medical & Care Center, Seward, Alaska.

Dougal Hewitt to chief mission officer for Presence Health.

Dr. Joel Spear to chief medical officer for Presence Saint Joseph Hospital – Chicago.

Dr. Joseph Barcie to senior vice president of international services for CHRISTUS Health, Irving, Texas.

Bob Sutton to vice president of community relations for Avera, Sioux Falls, S.D.

David A. Balt to chief medical officer for Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell, S.D.

Lourdes has made these changes: Tara Miller to vice president and chief philanthropy officer for Lourdes and Lourdes Foundation, Paducah, Ky., and Lee Syphus to vice president for Mercy Medical Associates – Kentucky Region, Paducah.

Chris Bos to director of human resources for Mercy Hospital Springfield, Mo.

GRANTS AND GIFTS

St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren, Mich., has received a $1 million anonymous donation to enhance the emergency department, one of the largest gifts in its history.

St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, Pa., received a $100,000 donation from Ronald McDonald House Charities to support new construction in its pediatric emergency care center.

Pittsburgh Mercy Health System, Pittsburgh, has received a $50,000 grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield to benefit homeless and mentally ill people.

Saint Francis Medical Center, Grand Island, Neb., 125 years.
