PRESIDENTS/CEOS
Bon Secours Health System of Marriottsville, Md., has named the following leaders executive vice presidents: Janice Burnett, chief financial officer; Dr. Samuel Ross, chief executive for Bon Secours Baltimore Health System and market leader for Bon Secours Kentucky Health System of Ashland, Ky., supply chain and project management office oversight; and Mark Nantz, chief executive for Bon Secours St. Francis Health System of Greenville, S.C., and market leader for Bon Secours Charity Health System of Suffern, N.Y. Additionally, Nantz will expand his responsibilities by working as system lead for enterprise strategic initiatives. Bon Secours plans to recruit a new chief executive to replace Nantz at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System.

St. Louis-based Ascension has made these changes: Daniel E. Neufelder to president and chief executive of Ministry Health Care of Milwaukee, from senior vice president — chief operating officer for Ministry Health Care. He succeeds Nick Desien, who who will continue to be Ascension ministry market leader for Wisconsin, Kansas and Oklahoma. Also, Kathy Connerton to president and chief executive of Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, N.Y., the hospital where she was born and where she began her career in health care administration. Most recently, she was vice president of internal consulting at Bon Secours Health System of Marriottsville, Md.

OBITUARY
Sr. Gretchen Kunz, OSF, died Nov. 2. She was a former president and chief executive of St. Joseph Health System of Bryan, Texas.
