PRESIDENTs/CEOs

Mark Taylor to president and chief executive, Columbia St. Mary's, Milwaukee, from president and chief executive for Genesys Health System, Grand Blanc, Mich. Betsy Aderholdt to interim co-executive leader, Genesys Health System, from president, Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc, and Chris Palazzolo to interim co-executive leader for Genesys Health System from chief financial officer for the system.

St. Vincent Health System, Erie, Pa., has made the following changes: Scott Whalen to president and chief executive of the system from president and chief operating officer of St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. Whalen replaces Angela Bontempo who retired as president and chief executive of the system. Thomas Fucci to executive vice president and chief operating officer of the system.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Sr. Mary Persico, IHM, to executive vice president of mission integration, Catholic Health East, Newtown Square, Pa.. Sr. Persico replaces Sr. Juliana Casey, IHM, who retired.

Dr. Mitchell A. Fogel to chairman and vice president, department of medicine, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, Conn.

Dr. Scott Betzelos to senior vice president, performance distinction, Resurrection Health Care, Chicago.

David Kowalski to senior vice president, care services, St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Darren Henson to vice president of mission services, Mercy Health Center, Fort Scott, Kan., and Mercy Hospital, Independence, Kan.

Michelle Campbell to vice president of marketing, Carondelet Health Network, Tucson, Ariz.

Dr. Daniel T. Goulson to vice president of medical affairs, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Ashland, Ky.

Anthony J. Filer to system chief operating officer, Provena Health, Mokena, Ill.

Dr. Terence P. Wade to chief medical officer, St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Jon Vitiello to chief financial officer, Mercy Health System of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City. 

GRANTS AND GIFTS

St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Minn., has received a combined gift of $300,000 from the Otto Bremer Foundation and Bremer Bank in support of the hospital's "Caring for Generations" capital campaign.

Provena United Samaritans Medical Center Foundation, Danville, Ill., has received a $100,000 gift from the Julius W. Hegeler II Foundation toward renovating the facility's cancer center.

Providence Hospital, Washington, D.C., has received $100,000 grant from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield for its Teen Centering program.
