The Catholic Medical Mission Board has introduced a new visual identity and tagline.
According to information from CMMB, the new logo's round shape evokes Mary and the infant Jesus, representing CMMB's Catholicity. The circular shape, which calls to mind a halo and a globe, also is meant to suggest an embrace and compassion as well as the international reach of CMMB programs. The embedded ampersand relates to the international aid organization's collaborative nature.
With the new visual identity comes the new tagline, "Healthier Lives Worldwide." According to Debbie Wibowo, CMMB senior specialist, brand and communications, the tagline is "a reflection of CMMB's commitment to bring healthier lives to women, children and communities around the world."
