PRESIDENTs/CEOs
William P. Thompson plans to retire in 2017 as president and chief executive of St. Louis-based SSM Health. The system's board of directors will engage a search firm to conduct a national search for his successor.

Fred Brower plans to retire in September as president and chief executive of Trinity Health System, Steubenville, Ohio. Joseph Tasse will serve as Trinity Health System interim chief executive. He was chief executive of St. John Providence Health System, Warren, Mich.

Robert Diehl to president of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, Calif., from vice president of operations for Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, Calif.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES
CHRISTUS Health of Irving, Texas, has made these changes: Jeff Puckett to executive vice president and chief operating officer; Paul Generale to executive vice president, ambulatory, population health services and strategic alliances; Marty Margetts to executive vice president, corporate services and chief human resources officer; Ruth Krystopolski to senior vice president, population health; Nancy LeGros to senior vice president and chief legal counsel; and Dr. Peter Plantes to senior vice president, physician enterprises.

Mercy Health of Cincinnati has made these changes: Jason Asic to chief operating officer of Mercy Health – West Hospital in Cincinnati; Justin Krueger to chief operating officer of Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio; and Kathi Edrington to east market chief nursing officer, with responsibility for clinical nursing at both Mercy Health – Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati and of Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She will continue as Anderson Hospital site administrator.

Maria Lariccia Brennan to chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services for Lourdes Health System of Camden, N.J., and St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J.

Dr. Heidi M. Dunniway to chief medical officer of St. Mary's Health in Evansville, Ind.

Pat Modrzejewski to vice president of philanthropy and chief development officer for Providence Health & Services, Renton, Wash., a new role at that system.

Bonnie Phipps is retiring as a senior vice president of Ascension Health and group ministry operating executive. Ascension is based in St. Louis.
