Religion, theology and art abound in CHA formation program

June 1, 2014

CHA's annual Ecclesiology and Spiritual Renewal Program for Health Care Leaders in Rome offers ministry executives and trustees the opportunity to understand more fully the views and teachings of the Catholic Church, and the impact on its global health care ministry. Here are some postcards from this year's program held April 27-May 2. Clockwise from top left: Participants get an up-close view of Pope Francis during a general papal audience in St. Peter's Square. Archbishop Joseph Augustine DiNoia, OP, the Undersecretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, lays out the thinking underlying a recent report from the Vatican on the principles governing cooperation between Catholic and non-Catholic organizations. He shares the dais with CHA President and Chief Executive Officer Sr. Carol Keehan, DC. Fr. Mícheál MacCraith, OFM, welcomes some of the 53 participants and their guests to a tour of Sant'Isidoro in Rome.
