ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Angie Saporito to administrator of Mercy Hospital Columbus in Columbus, Kan.

Dr. Nick Kreatsoulas to chief medical officer of acute care services for Mercy Health of Cincinnati. He also shares the role of system quality officer with Phyllis Doulaveris, Mercy's recently named chief nurse executive.

Thomas Burke to vice president of operations at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center of Hartford, Conn.

Ryan Parker to vice president of diversity and inclusion for KentuckyOne Health of Louisville, Ky.

GIFTS AND GRANTS

The Children's Hospital of San Antonio has received a $1.5 million grant to establish a pediatric blood and marrow transplant program. The donation from the Najim Family Foundation will enable the hospital to provide inpatient and outpatient treatment for children diagnosed with cancer or certain blood disorders. Harvey E. Najim, president of the foundation, is founder and chairman emeritus of San Antonio-based Sirius Computer Solutions.

HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation of Eau Claire, Wis., has received a $100,000 endowment for surgical nursing education from the estate of Annabel Bauer. Bauer was a nurse, an Army veteran, a college dean and an educator with the World Bank.
