CHA paid tribute to Michael F. Rodgers, its senior vice president of public policy and advocacy, at a reception in its Washington, D.C., offices just prior to his retirement Jan. 31. During his august career as an advocate, Rodgers championed the Children's Health Insurance Program, the Affordable Care Act and other legislation important to CHA members and the health of the nation and its health delivery system. He is shown here flanked by John Rother, left, president and chief executive of the National Coalition on Health Care, and Ed Howard, founder and former chief executive of the Alliance for Health Reform, now known as the Alliance for Health Policy.
