Sue Anderson to regional president of SSM Health Wisconsin. She was executive vice president for Virginia Mason Health System and president of Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
AMITA Health has made these changes: Christopher Shride to president of AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center Joliet, from president of AMITA Health St. Mary's Hospital Kankakee. He replaces Herb Buchanan, who is departing as the Joliet hospital's president to become chief operating officer for AdventHealth Midwest Region. Karen Gallagher will take on the new role of administrator, now the lead role for the Kankakee hospital. She will report to Shride. She was chief nursing officer and vice president of operations. AMITA Health is a joint operating company formed by AdventHealth of Altamonte Springs, Florida, and St. Louis-based Ascension.
