Bonnie Phipps to senior vice president, group operating executive for Ascension Health of St. Louis, from Ascension Health ministry market leader and president and chief executive of Saint Agnes HealthCare in Baltimore. Patrick Mutch, Saint Agnes executive vice president, physician and strategic services, will serve as interim president and chief executive of Saint Agnes.

Dr. Martha Walsh to chief quality officer of the multispecialty group IHA, of Ann Arbor, Mich. IHA is part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.

GIFTS
Children's Hospital of San Antonio has received a $3 million gift from Valero Energy Foundation for use in completing an outpatient cancer center.
Our Lady of Peace of Louisville, Ky., a psychiatric hospital, has received a $1.47 million grant for an after-school substance abuse intensive outpatient program. The grant was from the KY Kids Recovery program.

NAME CHANGE
SSM Home Care and Hospice of St. Louis has changed its name to SSM Health at Home.

HONOR
Fr. Francis Morrisey, OMI, professor emeritus of canon law, has been appointed by Pope Francis to the Special Commission for the Study of the Reform of the Matrimonial Processes in Canon Law. The committee is charged with preparing a proposal to simplify the marriage procedure, making it more streamlined, and to safeguard the principle that marriage is indissoluble. Fr. Morrisey serves on CHA's Sponsor/Canon Law Committee.
