effective Nov. 28. He was president and chief executive of Memorial Hospital of Gardena, in Los Angeles. Brandon Mencini to chief executive for Centura Health's Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado. He was chief operating officer
for Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Kayleen Lee to interim chief executive of Avera St. Anthony's Hospital of O'Neill, Nebraska. She is filling the role as the search is underway for a permanent chief executive. The new chief executive will oversee operations at
both Avera St. Anthony's Hospital and Avera Creighton Hospital in Nebraska. Lee was chief executive of Sioux Center Health, an Avera partner, in Sioux Center, Iowa.
ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGESJust prior to his sudden passing,
Brian Smith announced his retirement as CHA vice president, sponsorship and mission services.
Diarmuid Rooney will hold that position on an interim basis until CHA conducts a search next year for a permanent replacement. Rooney is CHA senior director of ministry
formation.
