PRESIDENTs/CEOs

Cindy Rogers to president and chief executive of the new St. Francis Medical Center Foundation, Monroe, La. Rogers will continue to serve as vice president of St. Francis Medical Center and as administrator of St. Francis North.

Charles W. Neumann to president and chief executive, St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, Md., from senior operations executive, FTI Healthcare group, Boston. Neumann replaces Jeffrey K. Norman, who announced his departure in July.

ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES

Dr. Elisa Gil-Pires to chief of geriatric medicine and palliative care, Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, Conn.

Ron Haase to vice president and chief human resources officer, Genesys Health System, Grand Blanc, Mich., and St. Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw, Mich.

Dr. Michael Polnerow to vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer, St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, Del.

Sisters of Mercy Health System, Chesterfield, Mo., has made the following changes: Lori Sturgill to regional vice president, Mercy technology services, Springfield, Mo., and Dr. Robert Steele to senior vice president of market growth and development, St. John's Health System, Springfield.

Annette Stanton to vice president for finance and systems improvement at Mercy Physician Services, Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Kevin Groskreutz to chief information officer, Hospital Sisters Health System Western Wisconsin division, Eau Claire, Wis.

MaryCarroll "MC" Sullivan to director of ethics and education, Covenant Health Systems, Tewksbury, Mass.

Fr. James Arthur to chaplain, Center for spiritual Care, Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, Wis.

GRANT

St. Vincent's Health System, Birmingham, Ala., has received a $200,000 grant from the Jefferson County, Ala., department of labor. The funds will be used at St. Vincent's Jeremiah's Hope Academy for a program that trains older youth in the fields of patient care, phlebotomy, sterile processing and medical administrative assistance.

NAME CHANGE

Over the next year, Sisters of Mercy Health System, Chesterfield, Mo., plans to change all of its facilities' names to include Mercy in the title.

ANNIVERSARY

St. Mary's of Michigan–Standish Hospital, Saginaw, Mich., 50 years.
