KentuckyOne Health of Louisville, Ky., has made these changes: Jennifer Nolan to president of Flaget Memorial Hospital of Bardstown, Ky., effective Sept. 1. She was president of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and Our Lady of Peace hospital, both in Louisville. Nolan continues as president of Our Lady of Peace. Charles Powell succeeds Nolan as president at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth, effective Sept. 1. He was president of KentuckyOne Health Medical Group. Sts. Mary & Elizabeth is one of nine facilities KentuckyOne plans to divest. Flaget and Our Lady of Peace are not slated for divestiture.
Organizations within Trinity Health of Livonia, Mich., have announced these changes: Dr. Reginald Blaber to president of Lourdes Health System of Camden, N.J., from executive director of the Lourdes Cardiovascular Institute, vice president of cardiovascular services and chairman of medicine. He replaces Alexander J. Hatala, who retired. Also, Sr. Susan Welsh, RSM, plans to retire as president and chief executive of Pittsburgh Mercy within the next two years.
Chris Klay to president and chief executive of HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Ill., effective Sept. 18. He was division director of rehabilitation services for the HSHS Western Wisconsin Division.

Dr. Richard Afable will retire in December as executive vice president of Providence St. Joseph Health Southern California Region – Orange County/High Desert and president and chief executive of St. Joseph Hoag Health of Irvine, Calif. Upon his retirement, he plans to focus on mental health advocacy. He is forming a coalition to expand mental health services around Orange County, Calif.
Michael K. Kerner is departing as chief executive of Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System of Suffolk, Va., and Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. Mark Nantz, executive vice president of strategic initiatives for Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System, and market leader for Bon Secours in South Carolina and New York, will be interim chief executive of the Hampton Roads market and of Bon Secours Maryview, while continuing his current role.
