The Formation for Formation Leaders program will not be offered this fall as originally planned.

Based on member feedback and needs, the CHA team is working to reconfigure the program to provide engaging professional development and establish a dynamic community of practice for leading ministry formation in the future. We are excited about what is to come and look forward to sharing details with you soon.

Strong and vibrant ministry formation programs are essential in sustaining the flourishing of Catholic health care as a ministry of the Church. CHA is committed to innovative approaches to ministry formation as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of today. Formation for Formation Leaders is designed to establish a dynamic community of practice that will creatively lead ministry formation into the future.

Criteria for Participation

CHA member
Active engagement in leading/facilitating formation
Possess a graduate degree in theology or spirituality (Catholic theology - MA, MTS, MAPS, MDiv, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Willingness to commit to the entire program and evidence of organizational support to complete
Approval from System Chief Mission/Formation Officer
Participation criteria will be considered on an individual basis
