Statement on Senate Health Care Vote

Statement by Sister Carol Keehan, DC, President & Chief Executive Officer
Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA)

July 28, 2017 – The Catholic Health Association (CHA) is pleased and relieved that we will now have an opportunity to work together in a bipartisan way to improve the ACA. Working together there are many ways that this landmark legislation can be much improved. While the ACA has accomplished many wonderful things, we all realize that there are improvements needed that would make it serve the American people and our economy so much better.

CHA looks forward to working with all the members of Congress and the Administration in the process moving forward and will continue our efforts to protect and improve the Medicaid program.
