12:15 p.m. ET You're on Mute! – Fostering an Empathetic Culture in the Changing Workplace
This session will focus on the mission-critical need for an empathetic culture and address implications to be considered in the rapidly changing workplace that can impact our Catholic identity and organizational spirituality. How is incarnational spirituality impacted when we are engaging more on screens? How do we establish community and cultivate empathy for staff, patients and residents? Participants will engage in dialogue and sharing around topics highlighting methods to foster empathy, engagement and inspiration in this new reality.

With more and more (upwards of 60% of new leadership) coming from for-profit health care, mission leaders must continually reintroduce themselves to their fellow executives. This session will open discussion about how mission leaders can leverage their colleagues' desire for meaning and connection and how to reintroduce yourself and the mission, demonstrate your value and explain and establish your role to your colleagues.
