Protect What's Precious Medicaid Toolkit – Now Available
In late 2022, Congress passed a bill that decoupled the Medicaid continuous eligibility requirement made under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. As part of this new law, Congress enacted a transition period that phased down the enhanced federal medical assistance percentage (FMAP) to states, ending the continuous coverage requirement on April 1, 2023. CHA's new resource, the Protect What's Precious Toolkit, provides the ministry with tools and knowledge to help eligible Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries maintain their coverage. This toolkit includes talking points for front-line staff, posters, flyers, and CCTV resources.
