Overview

Fall Advocacy Days
for Ministry Advocates and System Mission Leaders

Oct. 18 – 19, 2023
8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ET

This year, we will bring ministry advocates and system mission leaders together to meet in Washington D.C. and visit with their members of Congress to highlight the ministry's advocacy priorities. As Congress works to wrap up the budget and appropriations process this fall, we anticipate that several of those priorities will be considered during the legislative action. Our Advocacy Days will feature discussions of the FY2024 budget and health programs including Medicare and Medicaid, the vital role Catholic health care plays in ensuring access to affordable coverage and quality care, and issues of particular concern for Catholic health care providers.

Gain insights from the Administration and Congress on healthcare policies and priorities. Dive into discussions on legislative matters and key community impact. CHA will equip you with up-to-date resources for effective engagement with lawmakers and staff. There will also be an opportunity for system mission leaders to meet separately to discuss specific issues facing mission leaders today.
