CMS' Final Rules on Medicaid Managed Care and Access: Key Implications for Health Care Providers
May 22, 2024
3 to 4:30 p.m. ET
On April 22, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released two highly anticipated final rules that reshape the federal regulatory landscape for Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Together, these regulations will modify standards for ensuring access to care, transparency, and oversight of provider payment rates. In addition, they will create greater opportunities for public input (especially for people enrolled in Medicaid), implement new quality metrics, and enhance program accountability.
During this call, Catholic Health Association and Manatt Health will discuss both rules (the "Managed Care Access, Finance, and Quality" and "Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services" final rules) and provide an overview of the policies that will be most impactful to health care providers, including changes to state-directed payment, quality measures, and home — and community-based services (HCBS). Join Catholic Health Association and Manatt Health for an overview of these final rules and their impacts on health care providers.
